Hello everyone!

Sunday was the Chinese new year eve. I had lunch at home, then went out with silly head. I met Samantha to take back my belt, probably she didn’t want to 欠过年, haha! After that I was walking around the 2 shopping malls with him trying to find a computer shop to buy the ethernet card. I could not find a computer shop in 2 shopping malls! Shocking! After walking around, we went to study at BK. Went through the 2 lectures I missed and did 1 question for tutorial. Then we rushed up to timezone. OMG! Everywhere in Tampines Mall was like closing. We were worried that the arcade would close too, but it looked like still in operation like no tomorrow. Haha. It was my first time playing manuel S2000. Haha so fun! I have been learning how to drive manual from a psp already. Manual cars are really faster! I broke my past records after I learnt driving manual in psp. Unfortunately Initial D Arcade Stage 4 gear shift is not the same as psp (or stage 3), so I got quite confused.

Its ok, Stage 5 will be out soon! I have been waiting for Initial D Arcade Stage 5! Probably will cost like $2 per game at starting, and will drop to $1.50 or $1 after some time when popularity ceases. So I will still stick to Stage 4 for some time, complete my game at least. I have not played my card for quite long already. After playing, went home…

We did the normal bai bai at 12am. I didn’t wish very much. All I did was, thank you for giving the best boyfriend in the world to take care of me. Wishing for good grades of course, syf golds, wmc golds, great concerts. Lastly, happiness for everyone I know. =)

I received many greeting wishes, thank you everyone! Happy Chinese New Year too! =)

On Monday it was the 大年初一. Yet we did nothing much lah, I did a bit of tutorial then went out with my family to River Hong Bao. The place was super crowded. The entrance and exit was too narrow and it was at the same place. Getting into that place was like trying to pass through immigration in China, haha! Of course, it was really beautiful inside. Particularly I like the Chinese chess statues. They looked like 兵马俑, but they were not! They were actually representing Chinese Chess. Every statue had a character on it, like 兵and 卒. There were horses and cannon also, probably representing 马 and 炮. All these lighted statues stood on a floor with the Chinese chess board markings on it. Awesome! But how is it linked to Chinese New Year? Haha. I read that this year’s Dragon would be doing well in both work, studies, relationship and health. =)

After getting out of there, we went to merlion there, then took train and went home.

The next day, I woke up late. We went out with bear bear to watch movie LOVE MATTERS. This movie was so so only lah, very dirty minded and funny. It was not as close to our heart as the money not enough, because it was not as if like all secondary school kids like to look at porn videos, ownself take sex videos while having sex with bf, this and that. Also, not all marriages have husband and wife wanting to go find prostitutes. Got part on girls cheating on guys, and so on. It would be worth a laugh. Not for kids, its NC16. Haha! I like happy endings!

Before the movie we went to play arcade. Bear bear got a free initial D card, so funny! Haha. I was still trying to familiarise with manual transmission. Not doing very well actually. I would say that usually I am very careful on my steering such that I never touch the wall at all, and always aiming at turning at the inside. Now, some of my attention went to the gear shift and that resulted me in driving more recklessly… I went to play drummania but I failed the last stage, so sad ok. I felt that this kind of game, I got to be really good at it to say that its fun. Like para para, playing so well, now laughing at every arrow which came out, haha! So after being morale low, I went to increase my morale by playing that. I played 3 stages. Bear bear said 很像很容易, so he tried a 1 star song, mickey mouse march, haha, on the last stage. So funny lah, I was laughing all the way. His hands moved up and down one, not left and right one, hahaha!

Precious Thots having 10% off only on that day! We bought a pair of lovely mugs. So sweet. The next item I aming for in that shop would be the flower vast… =D Dinner at BK. Hershey’s pie! After the movie we went to hall together. School starting again tomorrow, ahh!!

Hi everyone! Happy Chinese New Year in advance! =)

We went to watch nypso concert in Esplanade on Sunday!! I bought them some magnets before it lah, then rushed here and there to collect tickets and dinner. Dinner at Kyo-Nichii!! My favourite sotong ramen =D =D. So far the best sotong I have ever eaten!! He also played sanko, then he gained level! Level 2 finally, so happy!!! The concert was nice lah, great thanks to Edward for the good seats though. Most of my friends were like sitting upstairs, lol! I saw some tpjc people also. Some people also saw me, then don’t know why as usual I could not recognise them, hai. I felt so bad lah. Like very 没有心. HAHA certain things like bad memory for faces and names are hard to control and master lah!! HAHA!! I saw SHI CHUN!!! =D =D =D =D After concert, I was waiting for trombone section and a lot of people, to be santa claus… TROMBONE SO SLOW. No more flowers/presents ok =\. Edward became fatter! Cha Soon became more handsome! Elsie became prettier! =D =D After everything we rushed to hall by cab lah.

Monday, school!! I feel that, the most important thing everyday is to be happy, right? I shall stop talking about some woman who is always unhappy and MOVE ON. No volleyball for the whole week so it was very boring one lah. I have never attended a single aerodynamics tutorial, and I only attend 2 lectures of that so far. Sometimes, anyone else can teach better than some lecturers lah, so forget it, and go to sleep! =D Lab on Friday also doing very well, pdms was sticking to SU-8 slowly. MB106 lecture ended early, then nie band practice. Got to know that they will be celebrating cny next week so we got to proceed to prof ho’s house during band instead. Happy, must pull string get good relationships with him so that he will give me A lol.

Today I woke up late again, then went out for lunch at Pizza Hut. I saw lovely girlfriend CHING!! We tried the new year pizza. It was not bad lah, but I prefer ocean catch still, my favourite! Hehe. The new year pizza looked very nice only, haha. It was also quite expensive lah, compared to normal pizzas. The shrimp thingy tasted like 虾饺, LOL!! A lot of people sms me telling me that my face was in the straits times newspaper today. LOL so happy, then on my way back I bought one copy. I found my picture in the scholars section. They didn’t use the better pictures I took that day during the photoshoot though. They used the stand still picture which was like the not so nice one… Then the shirt was supposed to be white, they coloured it blue. Haha. They were just promoting Nanyang scholarship to be bond free, so that you can pursue whatever career you want later on. Then under my name they put aerospace engineering year 2, tpjc alumni. TPJC? LOL I sms my teachers telling them already. Probably they want to give the idea that you need not be from some good jc to get that scholarship I guess? =)

After reaching home, realised that home got new wireless modem. Yet, the computer in my sister’s room got problem connecting to it, hai! I spent a long time with it but still cannot. Sian sian, then when my family knew about the newspaper article, they summoned me to go out and buy 4 more sets of straits times back. LOL!!!

I would do some work tonight then I shall rest. I have got lots of work to do actually, AE2003, AE2006, AE2009 tutorial, MB106 presentation, AAI388 score numbering. Take care everyone, don’t eat too much and fall sick! Haha. Ja!

Hello everyone!

I met silly head late after dinner on Sunday and we rushed to school. So sad! All shops were closed so we could not play and buy things! Hai! No more dinners at home, then I can walk around Jurong Point before going back to hall. So ended up we got to rush to hall, rush to bathe and pack things. Hai hai.

Monday as usual lah. No idea how come some people can have so little understanding. Sleepy was the overall director for his cac week, so he was very busy answering phone calls. Some people can have so little understanding that they could actually tell him off about it because he was not participating actively during lab session. I was impressed by him not firing up at that moment. He was already so stressed up by his cac thing and people were so not understanding enough to give him more stress during lab. You know sometimes, other things are more important than studying. Our lives are not made to study only. We got other responsibilities. We weigh responsibilities differently at different time. When there is exam, studies is the most important. When there is a match, the match is more important than studying. NERDS probably do not understand that.

Of course there were also nice people around to control the situation! =) Nothing much on Monday, because no games, haha!

On Tuesday, I went for my first MB106 tutorial. At first I found a place to sit where I felt that those faces looked friendly. But they were not, they talked among themselves since they were friends and I felt super out. I went to sit in another table and I met friends there! So happy! After tutorial I went to SRC to watch my friends play captain ball. MAE captain ball team! Well they lost against NIE but they did their best. Captain ball is a game which PE teachers taught little kids how to play, when we were in primary school. So now we have grown up and we tried to challenge against these holy people who were masters of captain ball. How to win? Haha. Don’t laugh ok, the score was 47: 4! MAE colour was maroon, and the referee called us BROWN. Haha! After that I took Clare’s van (thanks!) to LT2. I met bear bear there. He so nice, helped us get all the free food for our dinner. But it was not enough, so we went to Macdonald’s to make ourselves full for dinner. Hehe!

We went for the first AE2011 tutorial in the morning on Wednesday. I used to love drawing but now I hate it. We were given a 3D drawing then we were supposed to draw it in first angle view. Then we were given a front view and top view and we were supposd to draw the section view. You know what, it was so difficult! I always thought I have the talent in drawing because my dad was a stage designer. He drew many maps and designs, 3d, 2d, different views, and also artistic drawings. After the first tutorial I felt that I need more practices to draw more in order to do this well. So sian lah, then somemore ate into lunch break. 2 hours lunch break became 1 hour le! We went to quad to have lunch, then I stomachache =(. I went back to hall to sleep. I woke up for MAE volleyball… We played for a while, but NBS didn’t come, so we walked over. Yay!! After that we had dinner at can 2, then I went to SRC to play captain’s ball. We played against SCE, and we won! 20+:6. So happy lah, and I was so noisy also, happy happy. Take photo =D. After that we went back to hall for the night.

We went for the first HW210 tutorial on Thursday. SO BORING! Sleepy was like DYING~~~. Actually I was also dying lah, just that I didn’t show it. I went to play volleyball for MAE again! This time round our opponent, CEE didn’t come! We walked over again! OMG! We were in SEMI! We haven’t played lol!! We walked to can 4 to eat, hehe!

Yuva and I did bubbles on Friday. So happy, I introduced this spin coating thingy to him. When needed we could do it again! After baking the pdms, I went for my MB106 lecture, then rushed to hall 2 volleyball court to play for semi finals. It was a good game! Confused at times because it was the first time we played together! Even though we lost, the points for both games were very close! =) After that I rushed for NIE band, was late, but happy.

Today, woke up very late and then went to mos burger to have a late lunch. We played initial D! After so long, so happy. But my driving was really very rusty, and also due to the very losse steering wheel that I wasn’t driving very well. It took me 3 times to win a rainy match against Dice, what a waste of money! Haha. After that we came back!

Even though ISG was not very well planned, in my opinion by the conveying school, I felt that as long as everyone had fun, it would be a success! It was the first time MAE volleyball girls ever made it into semi finals, and I wish that we could remain seeded in the future! Thank you everyone! I hope to play with all of you once more!

I am so loving volleyball, can I just play better? I want to improve!

Hi everyone.

It has been the first time after a few years when I actually fire up in this blog. This blog meant to be happy, keep happy memories. But there are times I got to put bad things here because they are important. It has been a long time since I criticise so openly, and I am excited.

First week of school was just over. I had a super super bad start on the first day and first period. Here it goes…

I happily went for lab session by myself on Monday morning. Last semester he sent me to lab every week but because he got lecture overlapping my lab this semster, I got to go there myself. So happy! I didn’t get lost going there myself. Hahaha. I was the first one to reach there lor, early by like 15 minutes. I should wake up later next week! Then I sat there alone and emo, because I was so bored. The bad thing was the rest of my group, except for Sleepy, came altogether. I don’t know this is planned or what lah, it just made a sian person like me sitting alone to feel super super left out. Enough said, everyone talked about results and I felt even worse. Scholar or non scholar, Suky is still Suky. I am dumb THATS IT. Later on Sleepy came and he shared the same sentiments as me.

Both of us have:

1) No idea why we did badly because we could do most of the papers.
2) Felt upset when we kept hearing A and A+ from our smartie group mates, so we sympathise with each other and we felt more pathetic.
3) Got shot at 2 times because we were not part of group discussion, because of the point above.

Well seriously, for people who have done well for exams for 10 years of their life, have no experience of studying really hard, topping the school and screw up in the end, they are super super insensitive. To them, if someone didn’t do well for exams, it just simply means that person never work hard enough. Reality is harsh isn’t it, strange things happen on Earth, nobody understands. There is no explanation why I screwed o level, psle and my year 2 first semester. Not saying that I topped the class in my year 2 first semester, but I diligently did all my tutorials, understood everything in lecture notes and I did past year papers. I didn’t do all 8 papers, I did 2. But that doesn’t explain why I got such a low grade? When you understand the concept, means you understand it. Mugging so much will just tire me. I hate mugging after mugging from 11 to 16 years old, and it was unsuccessful. I cannot take this kind of feeling. The feeling of doing well all the time, but screw up in the end and others overtook me. I cannot take it anymore. No mugging please, it makes disappointments really harsh.

The supervisor was an Indian, talking with a heavy accent. I could only catch one word in every sentence. Most of the time when he asked questions I didn’t even know what he asking. He entertained us for a total of 2 hours. It was 11.30am while lab ends 12.30pm. My smartie group members were enthusiastic enough to stay on and discuss, while Sleepy and I was drown in our sorrows of bad results (thanks for the reminder huh). So when it was finally over, silly head and bird brain came to pick me up. There was a reason for asking them to come all the way inside to pick me up. I was feeling super pissed off and I wish to see people who can make me happy.

Later I learnt that their supervisors only spoke for like 20 min and the group also dismissed by themselves. I am so missing my AE1001 and AE1002 group, they made my life so happy. We went to have lunch, then we went for a lecture, AE2011. Someone very very familiar… The same Indian prof lectured for 1 hour! Everyone was complaining about him! Next lecture, AE2003, then we saw a name so familiar too! He would be teaching like a lot of lectures for that later on? HAI. Semester 2 is going to be very sad and slack, I am going to skip a lot of lectures. Read textbook is better.

The rest of the days were ok lah, was sick also, but went for volleyball training. Tired but fun. I cannot imagine when IHG is over, there will be no more trainings. It is going to be boring study life for me. To sum up:

AE2011: I wish to score, my dad’s a designer!
AE2072: I heard that the Indian likes to give A, yay!
AE2003: The 3 monsters of Aerospace are going to teach, and it is open book exam. It shall be tough.
AE2006: I know why it has 4 au, because there is an extra lecture every week, because they teach damn slow. So far so good.
AE2009: Materials again? Hai.
MB106: The lecturer speaks so good english, I enjoy listening to him. But the module seems tough. SU!
AAI388: 4 challenging pieces this semester, this is getting interesting. If I do well, I will do again. If not I shall take other module because I need free As!!
HW210: Haven’t touch yet, but I am looking forward to a happy group. =)

Red Cliff 2 was really not bad, but when I realised from him that they changed the ending to speed it up, I was quite disappointed. There were unimportant parts which could have been cut off. The planning to win the war from both sides was truly commendable. Now I see why 3 kingdom was so popular. Even though they changed the ending, the bad guy still lost just like history. I like happy endings.

I was observing a toilet paper dispenser my dad bought last week. It was a stainless steel, small one, and you can imagine it appearing in public toilets. The appearance of it turned me off already. My house washroom is a really grand one. It has very nice blue floor tiles which become reflective when they are wet (when I bathe!!). The walls are dressed up with light blue/white little tiles all the way to just above my height, and then the cement was painted light blue up till the ceiling. The sink is a beautiful transparent blue colour, in the shape of a bowl on top of a glass flat table. This beautiful sink has a cylindrical shiny metal tap on it. So this beautiful washroom image is destroyed by the ugly looking toilet paper dispenser. Sighs. Somemore, after taking a good look at it, it is poorly engineered.

The screw which allow the cover to turn up and down is rusty. When I lift the cover up, it does not stay there but it falls back down with a bang. So replacing the toilet paper is inconvenient. The bang also means that there is great impulse on the tip of the dispenser which holds the cover. With such great false on the tip at all times, it will spoil soon! The sides of the dispenser is not polished. The sides are rough and not rounded. Sharp edges are always bad. The sharp teeth to cut the toilet paper is almost useless because there is no way to cut the toilet paper like that, and it may hurt the user.

Overall, it sucks. Just imagine it to be something totally different. The thing is made of a nice shade of blue colour plastic, rounded edges everywhere. The cover is a translucent plastic and it allows the user to see how much toilet paper is left, and it is beautiful. The cover shall stay up when it is held up by weight or friction, and when it fell it shall be nicely cushioned by rubber where it fall. Stop dreaming.

I hope it will spoil soon! Haha. Do some work now, ja!

Hi everyone.

I woke up early yesterday morning and went to meet up my friends for a casual kayaking session. All the animals! Rabbit, bear, bird brain and the 2 mouse =D. One more to the family would be Dennis. He was so super late but he got passion card so we enjoyed a 5% off discount for one boat, which was only like $1+ off. But we added the locker money so ended up still the same. We rowed for 1 hour, plain fun. It was of very good weather, no sun at all, and every moment looked like it was going to rain. The wind was quite strong so there was some small little waves. He did the rowing most of the time and I was relaxing and enjoying the ride.

After rowing, we bathed and went for lunch at Tampines Mall food court. It has been ages since I entered that food court! I always thought food court means ntu canteen food. So it seems that the food court outside is tasting much better than ntu canteens, so I shall not avoid them lah, haha. We bought tickets for YES MAN after eating at GV. Great thanks so bear bear who sacrifice! All the movies which we watched before overlapped, and he didn’t mind watching that again. While waiting for the movie, we went to play at timezone. Played initial D with them, can see Eng Leong playing happily at the “expert” course. Hahaha. I wasn’t using my card that day, and I used the unmodified car. I could feel the difference already, like not used to it. We also played other games like matching the thingy for the major prize, so addictive! Haha. I saw some boys playing para para, following the doll, so dumb lah, haha. Then also went to shoot bears, throw basketballs. So fun!! =D

The movie was ok lah, quite funny at some parts, especially the part when those police linked up learning korean, learning to be a pilot, finding Persian wife, lending money to someone who did fertilisers, and traveling to places every week, to BEING A TERRORIST. Why are you learning Korean? Are you trying to ally with North Koreans? We know of someone who has the same name as you, his last time is Marx.

Today, silly head and I went to watch Cinderella. We reached there, found our seats and caught up with old friends. Faith, Narelle and their lovely mother. I love the singing in the musical, there were parts of humour too. The prince was so sweet to her, aww. I wonder what is the true origin of Cinderella? After watching, I bought the Cinderella CD and the glass slipper keychain. So pretty! A lot of little girls got the tiara, making them look like little princess.

He bought me the little strawberry chocolate fondues! =D We went to Marina Square Kyo Nichi for dinner. We were so disappointed that our favourite sotong has run out, so we had some other noodles instead. After that went to play aracde, and got traumatised by hard freestyle T_T. Then we took train westward and ended up in Jurong Point! I rushed for the florist, omg flowers flowers! =D Bought somethings around, then went back to hall. =D

OHHH so tired. Good night.

Hi all!

It has been a long waited new year for me, more challenges ahead, especially wmc. But no idea whether I will be playing for that because I haven’t join a decent band yet! Haha.

The past few days have been fulfilling. It was indeed a great achievement to realise that putting the sample into the oven after the plasma treatment will speed up the bonding process. Oh yah right, isn’t that common sense? Lol. Well, it just assure me that SU-8 and pdms do bond under plasma, lol. I did a failed sample on Wednesday after a long time, breaking a glass petri dish in the process… how careful. Not my fault, the hot plate’s fault can.

Silly head came back on the 31 December night. So happy to hear his voice, really. But I fell sick at night, slept early, skipped all the whatever countdown which everyone was excited about. Actually I am never excited doing countdowns, I bothered about year 2000, the next time I bother shall be year 2010… =). By the way, great thanks to everyone to send me new year messages!

Not to forget a lot of wishes come from msn too. On Thursday, silly head came to find me sick in my room. But we went out! Hehe! We went to vivo city to watch THE DUCHESS. We bought this pizza thingy to eat inside the Cinema Europa. The pizza tasted really good! =D Expensive though, but worth much better than junks like popcorn. The movie was really very nice, protraying the life of the past when woman has no much rights than man, how boys are prefered than girls, and the way she sacrifice the love of her life, and continue to live a life of suffering for her daughters, fame and pride. The costumes and scenary were not bad. I could tell that they didn’t invest much into the movie so some parts the buidings, grassland and book shelfs look like drawings rather than the real thing. Not many people watch such movie so I can understand. She is beautiful, charismatic and capable, so I really admire her. Her bastard husband and bitchy mother, lol. Now I wonder if affairs were common in the past.

We played in timezone also lah, and I got orientated with drummania!! Hehe. Can upgrade my para para to hard very soon, must find a cheaper machine to ease the the heart pain wasting money transition, lol. I still couldn’t win god foot even with perfect driving, and I am finding solutions… We had hot dogs for a very late dinner, delicous but we couldn’t finish them. Haha. Nice chilli fries.

Today is a long day! We went to MAL to take my lab manual, had lunch! Fishball noodles!  It has been a long time since I have eaten fishball noodles from can A! Hehe. Then we went to student service centre to hand in my review money, then walked to spms to find santa. However santa wasn’t around so I took bus to can 2. I couldn’t find my conditioner and softener in nanyang mart. We went back hall, played a bit, then went to nie outdoor court to have friendly with hall 3 le. Good game! After that we took bus to Jurong Point, had BK for dinner, then went home.

Hi everyone.

Haha I am so free in hall. 3 days no boyfriend suddenly become very free hahaha. Silly boy I miss you! Suddenly no more da ban for me to hit, so boring… So boring until I think I am sleeping soon! XD

Silly head and I went out on Saturday! We went to Cathay there to watch Ponyo!! ~!~! SO CUTE. It is a little kids love story. No matter you fish or mermaid or human, I will still love you! OMG~~ So sweet. Well it is a ghibli’s version of little mermaid. I cried at certain parts also lah, because of the silly kids, and so sweet. (L) (L). The cinema also played with my feelings… At first got poster saying there is BBQ flavoured popcorns, end up don’t have. Then don’t know why we ended up bought so much food for the movie, then wasted a lot of popcorns in the end. I played initial D, and I am only left with god foot again… Dinner was at sakae sushi! We ate like so little, just some sushi, some side dish and 1 seaweed udon, but the bill came out to be $35!! Why sia, lol.

Then yesterday, we went out again. We went to Century Square Shaw to watch bedtime stories. There are many movies to catch lately! So we shall spend all our time watching movies, haha. Anyway, it was really funny movie lah. I thought they also used a lot of money to make the costumes all these. Very light hearted and fun movie, nothing serious to think about, nothing too crappy too. I didn’t cry lah don’t worry, hehe. After the movie I was trying very hard to beat god foot but I failed lah. Then later on I met my primary school friends for dinner.

Zhao Qi, Qin Mei, Rayna, May Lee. OMG they never changed!! All look the same! Did we grow up? LOL. We took the train to Changi Airport to have dinner at FIsh and Co. Really good food I must say. The fish chawder was nice too, and I was also drinking my favourite passion fruit soda. There were like 3 person sharing the seafood platter for 2, and it was just enough! It felt great to catch up with them again, mosf of them working already, only Zhao Qi and I still studying. Then it was like, got age gap one lol!! Haha. I also found out some of them played Pet Society so I just added them lah, hehe. Happy girl. After that we went to candy empire. I realised Zhao Qi LOOOVVVEEDDD sweets. She was the only one down there keep buying and buying, haha.

After walking around, finally we took bus 27 back. Happy day, so long never see them le.

At night, I saw my results. (censored, go to lj and see!)

Today, woke up le then take lunch, and cab to school. Thank you mummy for helping to carry my things down! I got a very nice taxi uncle, he kept saying I am a good girl =D. But anyway, big thanks to You Quan and Boon Chong who came help to carry my trombone and stuffs up to my room. I only called for You Quan haha, but ended up Boon Chong also here, lol. So suddenly like nothing for you to carry like that! I saw the cute laundry did by silly head that day, so silly! Some fur left on the clothing, I forgot to tell him to watch out for the fur big thingy =). Nonetheless, it was like the first time he did my laundry like totally by himself, good work. Love love. After packing my things, I went to the lab to do my research.

My sample not really working leh, I think I misuse the plasma cleaner haha. I shall try again tomorrow XD.

Hi all!

After this concert would mean I won’t be so busy anymore. Again, I couldn’t remember much details so just split this entry into parts…

Rehearsals have been going on everyday, and then the concert on 23 December. I would say it was great, but of course if we got more time we could have played much better. We didn’t practise much anyway. Very happy to make many new friends in philyouth. Thank you very much for the 11 nasband people who came to support me, plus shouting my big name SUKY while I entered the stage. Thank you for the sweet bear toy bouquet. Thank you very much also to the nyp band people who came. I was very happy to see Sarah, Audrey, Alvin and many more who I forgot their names. Big thanks to Nura who came with her friends. Thank you the 2 person who I didn’t know who, giving me daisies. Thank you silly head for coming and the beautiful lilies =). Thank you sleepy head for sending me back, and your Christmas cards! Thank you guest players for playing and side reading on stage. Thank you Adrian, the miracle man. Classiques! is not possible without you. =)

Volleyball is still doing well. It was great that we won the quarters. I didn’t really like the noisy green water bottles but its ok. When they sub me in I was so totally scared of them and nervous, then I anyhow touched the ball and lose points =(. Well… Looking forward to friendly matches with other halls before we play against hall 7 in the semis. Hall 9 is stronger this year, got hope ok! yiling.kangling.yingying.jenrine.sandy.joann. jia you! =)

I went back to ntu to do some research on 24 December and on Christmas. I was trying out this new SU-8 method to make my device. The results look truly promising. Now I just need to figure out the problem they are also facing right now. How to put the tubing into the pdms hold?

NASTO today was a great as ever. Great Jonathan was driving for us today again. There were me, Geraldine, Geck Woon, Jonathan, Jensen, Ryan, Jezer and Cheng Heng. We first had branch at Burger King Tampines. My very small appetite became their joke of the day. After that we bought some more junk food and drinks, then took the car to Sentosa. We set up our camp and played there whole day. Volleyball and Frisbee! Sexy W from Wensen! Hahaha! Geck Woon’s polarise camera was fun. Now I got one more photo in my wallet! =D After playing, we went to bathe. I bathed outside again! At first I thought no cubicle. Later on after I bathe I walked around actually got so many empty ones. Like what lah, I bathed with small girls and small boys. So cute, eraser only! Haha. After bathing we went to Vivo, and decided to eat this steamboat buffet that cost $17.30 (after adding all the gst service charge and drinks) per person. Geck Woon left and Darryl came. It was a very satisfying dinner. Then he sent us home one by one. Got Christmas present somemore, so good. Thank you everyone for coming and make NASTO 2008 part 2 a successful one!

Silly me, I took 0 pictures today. I left my camera in my bag all the while, didn’t take it out. =(

Hi everyone!

These days are the busiest of my life! I shall split into 3 categories to talk about:

TPJC had a great concert on the 18 of December. I was feeling really shaky throughout because I only attended 3.5 rehearsals in total. The songs were simple but it was just the unfamiliar kind of feeling. It was the first time this kind of “passenger” feeling came into me. Well I shall make sure I can attend at least 5 rehearsals to prepare a concert in the future. Anyway, big big thank you to the guest players, especially Aaron! Oh man I never expect myself to meet a trombone god haha, I met him in sec4 and I remembered him always because he was soooo zai! The rest of the players were not bad too. We had a very handsome cool looking guy, good news he’s single! 2 fantastic main players too! Thank you all who gave me presents during the concert, especially my silly head who couldn’t find the side gate when he alighted from the bus. So cute. =)

The concert was generally just quite ok ok only, because actually even the main band members only had 2 weeks to prepare, and there were so many zai zai guest players who only come a few practices like me (not saying I zai lah…). Yet, I felt that it was a great work considering it was only 2 weeks of hardwork. Well done tpjc band! Love you always! Great job to Adrian the miracle man too! =)

Volleyball in hall 9 has been doing very well. They won the prelimary rounds and they are going to the quaters next week.  I skipped the first match because I was playing with tpjc band. I heard that they played very well on the first one. I went to hall to sleep for the night and woke up to play for the second one. First set was quite well done but second set there were quite some mistakes. 人非圣贤，孰能无过. It is ok my dear girls, as long as we win, but be careful in quaters!! =)

After volleyball match I rushed to take photo shoot for Nanyang Scholars brochure. The photo taking session was much more professional than the previous last year one which angered me very much. The shots were great! The make up artist was fantastic turning me from pretty to even prettier =). There were a total of 4 different shots. One was just formal standing up, the other was formal sitting down talking to somebody on sofa. Then I changed into a casual wear and pretend to read textbook, and the last shot was using the laptop. I have never seen myself to pretty before, hehe! Even though this is very last minute, I am very happy with the pictures! So much nicer than last year’s.

Philyouth has been going fine, and I am getting very comfortable with the pieces right now. All I can say is I promise a great concert on Tuesday! =)

Ngee Ann band was like usual. I went for their practice today and advertised my concert. I hope they will go! My ticket sales very bad leh, first time. Usually I can sell quite a lot of tickets!

I went to celebrate Christmas with silly head today. We went to cathay to watch “journey to the center of the Earth 3D”. They movie was boring lah, I didn’t like it. Something which I hate even most would be the physics all go wrong! It is not about us being uni students, even secondary school kids know about the boiling point of water! The best part would be all the impossible creatures like dinosaurs and sea dragons appearing. LOL!! Stupid movie! -.- Later on we played in the arcade also, ZONE X. So happy leh, top up $20 get another $20 free. He topped $20 I topped $20 lol. So happy, haha. I realised raining races are really challenging! The opponent is not affected by the rain at all while I am the one being affected. It took me many times (less than 10 ok!) to beat Kai in the rain. There were some screw ups like going backwards but it was fun. Happy now and I upgrade my car too. Hehe! Pretty s2000! I found my new love already though, its a BMW Z4! A prettier roadster lah, haha.

After a couple of races and san guo wars, we went out to hunt for dinner. After a long time we finally found Waraku de Gohan. We ordered a christmas set B (the one with crab), fried noodles, melon soda float, coke float and bbq squid. It was great! The sashimi was great, sweet! Tempura was normal lah, then the sushi was not bad too, I love the big salmon roe! The crab was damn good! Haha. The squid was not bad too! Only the fried noodles were ok ok only. The wine was like the best wine I have drank outside my house, haha. Float was normal lah, but quite small cup. How good can you expect a float to be, they are all the same! Well what we estimated to be around $80 meal turned out to be $110 after gst and service charge. Very expensive indeed, but we got a $30 gift voucher, so can minus off lah, next time we eat can use. We got lots of vouches actually. Their service was good also lah, it was the press button kind. Then the next table was really Japanese people and I saw the lady waitress talking to them in Japanese! So I guess it would be more worth while to come if I am a Japanese to utilise the 10% service charge lah, haha.

We stayed till they closed at 11pm, then we went out to take pictures. The hanging lights in orchard was normal only lah, not very nice. Last year would be better. But the lightings near shopping malls were as good as always. Hehe. I bought this little charity christmas hat on clip for $5. So cute! I want the red one! After that we took cab from Marriot home. The other queue was crazy lah, haha!

Thank you silly head for such a good christmas celebration! Next year shall budget it! =) love love.

Hey everyone.

I am finally home after staying in hall continuously for one and a half months. I woke up very late because I was sick on Wednesday, then rushed to my lab and found my santa at about 5pm! I was so happy to see new things in the lab! There were new friends too, forgot their names. New machines! LOOK! Our very own plasma cleaning, vacuum chamber, UV chamer, clean dryer, digital syringe, high speed camera and more may be in another lab. I am looking forward to coming back soon. Note down the time, 5pm to 6.30pm. =D After that I took bus to can 2, then we ate there. Later on we did our long time never touch photo album! Opening ceremony~ did some work and now waiting for more pictures! =)

Thursday! Went to play ISG firsbee but was raining, so postpone to the next day. I came back then William came over and deliver Macdonalds! McWings!! =D After that I went for volleyball training. Then I came back, bathed, laundry, then I did something for that sicky sleeping charming… (L).

Today, he went out to buy subway back for us for lunch, then we registered subject. So happy to be able to get what I want! =) After registering, I rested a while then went to play ISG frisbee. I got the ISG t shirt, finally, then changed. Here’s the team! Comprising of mainly guys and 4 fabulous girls: SUKY, HUI JUN, XIAO XUAN, FANG QI. Fang Qi is the frisbee manager, very enthu and more importantly, very pretty. Anyway, we played well, don’t know why we got second, they said should be third…

After that I bathed and hurried back in the cab, paid almost $40! I brought back a lot of things like my laptop, bali stuffs trombone and 2 trombone cases, the usual purple bag. So happy to eat home cook food. I have not eaten so much rice for a long time! I rushed for tpjc band, but when I reached there, over already! =( So I came back lor, something wrong with the internet at home, so I thought I can play some computer games. I was searching up and down for my sims 8 in 1 but they were nowhere to be seen!!! After that I was searching up and down for my concert booklet bag but I also couldn’t find! Later on I wanted to take out Need for Speed to play, but end up I can’t find it inside my bag. I didn’t bring home? Hmm.

I on the laptop and I was happy to be able to connect to someone’s wireless connection. I guess I shall go to bed soon for now, I want to search for things again before I sleep… tpjc band and philyouth tomorrow!
