I just switched back to my newer LCD monitor, the one that used to give me lots of problem. After switching the monitor on for 5 minutes, 4/5 of the screen would be covered by a white patch. The only solution to it is to switch off the monitor and on it again. Then 5 minutes later, it “white” out again.
My sister and I was so fed up with it that my sister finally borrowed a very old (CRT) monitor from her friend. That monitor is horrible. Every time you switch on the monitor, you have to adjust the display to fit the screen as it will not auto save the settings. The brightest setting on the monitor is still very dark. It also just blacked out on me, this time due to overheating.
Anyway, everything is looking so much prettier now. Photos and graphics are now back to their original brightness. I can finally view all my photos with ease! Hopefully, this LCD monitor won’t die on me again or I really need to consider getting one with my precious red packets. I can’t bear to return to the arms of the old bulky hag.
PS: Good luck to all who’s getting their O’ Level results tomorrow.
Greetings
