Ramblings

I finally went back to HSCB last monday. Yes, I missed the physics practical in the morning(again). I was sick and woke up at 1pm that day. Nevertheless, I still decided to make my way to Hai Sing. It’s a good feeling to be back, to see my juniors and to hear some familiar voices. Infact, I really missed those days I’m in Hai Sing.
However, I thought I was abit too harsh on my juniors that day. They were having sectionals. I couldn’t believe how much the standard of flute section differs from before. Singapore Rhapsody2, a song they played before, was a very very simple piece. Yet, they sounded as if they had never ever seen the piece in their whole entire life. I even witness a flute fall to the ground.
After Andy had finished going through Singapore Rhapsody2, I gave them a lecture. I quoted XinHui about how she’s very proud of our section, her juniors, and told them how they don’t really live up to the expectation. I may have gone abit too far, but I hope they will atleast process what I had told them, do some self-reflection and show some improvements.
Greetings
Good day. Welcome to my personal site, my digitalised junkyard of ideas and recollections!
